Now you are probably thinking what does voodoo have to do with bean counters and class envy? Of course you know I’m going to tell you.

At cosmicflyswatter.com we have a great affection for metaphysics. We enjoy reaching beyond what is provable since it is most certain that almost everything is ultimately unprovable, that is of course beyond knowing that you are alive and that you are going to die.

But I think that it can be clearly understood that in life there are things that though they cannot be proved they are surely true. Kurt Godel, Einstein’s good friend wrote the Incompleteness Theory, which though it was centered around that branch of mathematics known as Set Theory, has formidable philosophical implications. No matter what box you create or set of things, there are things outside of any box that though they cannot be proved, they are nevertheless true.

So it is with the spirit of things, or in the case of voodoo the “spirits” of things. Unprovable as they are, spirits exist. If you can think of something it exists in your mind. At the very least one can always describe the spirit of any situation, and people do just that everyday. We will look more at this in a moment, for I think that there are overriding and antithetical if not evil influences prodding our great society to implode at this very time.

To coax you along the pathway where I conjure my own perspective, and in the hope that you might at least understand me if not agree, imagine you are at a crossroads. There are two signs each pointing down two separate paths. One pathway is signed “Spirit” and the other sign reads “Letter.”

These two words refer to the Law. They are the two main perspectives of the Law and though they can be complementary, they are often two very separate and divergent paths. To illustrate, if a young football player makes a particularity viscous hit on an opposing team member, but that hit was legal, he has acted within the “Letter” while breaking the “Spirit” of the Law. The letter of the law in this case being the rules of the game and the spirit being good sportsmanship. Which is overriding? How do we decide?

For our purposes here we will set aside that class of scoundrels known as lawyers whose purview it is to choose whichever side of the Law proves itself most convenient or expedient in their pursuits if pecuniary emoluments… I’m sorry, every now and then I seem to channel the spirit of Charles Dickens when writing even though I don’t believe in channeling. Pecuniary emoluments is a flowery term that simply means money.

St. Paul was a big advocate of the Letter of the Law. In his early career you would have found him on the “Letter” pathway pursuing and sentencing to death the heretics known as Christians, until one day he headed down the road to Damascus where he decided to switch allegiance and hang out on the pathway of the Spirit. He even stated that in the Letter of the Law there is death, but in the Spirit of the Law there is life.

And we all know what Shakespeare had to say about lawyers:

It is their seemingly unprincipled jumping from one path to the other that infuriates us and leaves us with a lower opinion of them than a used car salesman.

But I point all of this out to illustrate that no matter what arena of human endeavor or thought we consider, there is the component of the Spirit of Things that is overriding. And it is in the choice of which spirit or spirits will guide us that great benefit or error derive. Even if we do not pay any attention to such things, the choices of spirit are being made simply in the selection of our actions. We may ignore the entire idea of spirit being the highly educated modern anti-mythological and practical video-game playing intellectual giants that we are, the spirit or spirits of things abide anyway. The Spirit is overriding, always!

Il n’ya pas d’evasion, Amigos.

Forgive me for writing almost half an article before getting to the point which is bean-counters, class envy, and voodoo. These three things are components in the unraveling of the greatest most free society that mankind has ever built. I may be stretching things here a bit with voodoo but I think that you will eventually see my point.

The Spirit of America was declared from the beginning. It was called forth in the Declaration of Independence. Now I’m going to repeat it for you folks sitting over in the left pews since I don’t think you heard me. Let me cup my hand behind my ear. And I want to hear a response of “Amen” from you after I say it again.

OK here we go “INDEPENDENCE!!!” … I didn’t hear the “Amen!” from you.

We Declared our Independence, and we justified this action by claiming that our rights are derived from the Living God and not from men and their governments. In fact after a dozen more years and a lot of negotiations we wrote a constitution based on that original spirit of INDEPENDENCE!

We set out to limit our own governance by claiming that our governors will govern with their authority coming from us and not the other way around. We tried to fashion a model of governance that reflected more perfectly Nature’s Creator, the nature of men, and the natural order of things in general. The idea was to respect each and every man and woman’s vision of happiness.

The hypocrisy of slavery existed during this period and it tainted the purity of our intentions. It took another three quarters of a century to boil up and over into civil war, but the spirit of what we declared was nevertheless true right from the beginning.

Then came the progressives and their greatest worker bees, the bean-counters.

The progressives have always been around in some form or another. They are always funded by evil bankers and supported by lawyers. They see government as a playground for their vain imaginings and as an outlet for their superiority in intellect. They convince themselves that just by being the Ivy-League Club Members that they are, they are entitled to cut up, massage, refashion and dismiss any part of the constitution that was constructed to stop them and their kind in the first place. The fruit of all regular folks’ labor is theirs in their eyes to redistribute as they wish.

The United States Constitution was expressly designed to limit and stop any group of elitists from exacting tyranny over the visions of happiness enjoyed by the regular folks. Plutarchs, Oligarchs, Banking Elites, Corporate Giants, Union Thugs, Chicago Gangsters, Imperial Politicians, and Academic Loons need not apply! NO VACANCY! Go back to Europe, or Cuba, or any other place where lies are forwarded for the profit of the clans of various types that crawl around there. And take Al Gore and the Global Warming Liars with you! We declared our INDEPENDENCE!

But the elitists are not without an army on their march to tyrannize and subdue free men and women. They have an army of bean counters. Bean counters are everywhere working for the progressive tyrants. And by using bean counter products they have sold horse manure to at least the last two generations while they were growing up.

What is a bean counter? They are mostly sociologists or some form of it. They are not necessarily bad folks. But they are being used by the progressive tyrants to sell liberty-diminishment to independent thinking Americans. The tyrants need to convince free thinkers that things are unfair and that they should give up their freedom to them so that they (the tyrants) can straighten things out in the face of all the unfairness. So they cite the statistics compiled by bean counters. Bean counters use mostly taxpayer money and academic grants to study groups.

What kind of groups? The groups can be anything they want. This is a cultural form of Set Theory. The set of all whites, or the set of all Latinos, or the set of all transvestite, welfare recipient, below the poverty-line, inner-city, single mother, single payer, illegal, undocumented, yellow-breasted cockroaches. It is not important. What is important is that the population be divided into opposing groups. As long as “unfairness” can be identified there is money to be extracted for big government slavery enticements. Jesse Jackson holds a Masters Degree in Unfairology.

Earth to progressives … Nothing is fair, never has been and never will be. Being Created equal is in they eyes of God and not in the eyes of a Harvard Idiot!

Bean counters are the worker bees for slavery and socialism. It is a trick wrapped in partial truth and sold to the lazy as a devil’s bargain.

Which brings us to class envy. After dividing everybody into groups it is no leap to create class envy. And by class I don’t necessarily mean income though that’s a big and useful one.

The “F***ing rich are getting a break man!” … ” I know dude, let’s finish that doobie or we’ll be late to Professor Nutjob’s the History of the White Evil Male class.

Class can be race, money, jobs, location, whatever. Every demographic, every last population sector must be identified and dissected for the unfairness factor. Just get me a bean counter over here and quick or we’ll lose a government grant opportunity. That folks then become envious and suspicious of each other is the direct result of government meddling and pandering.

This is expressly anti-American by its nature. Like Al Gore who apparently stated the motto of the United States backwards, progressives suffer from Voluntary Anti-American Spirit Syndrome. They see things as, from one, many. E Pluribus Unum means From Many, One.

We all came here with different backgrounds that we may remember and celebrate on occasion, but only underneath and below that great unifying attribute of the American Spirit. We are INDEPENDENT! We have this in common. We have always cherished it. But now we are losing it to the liars and thieves. These progressive tyrants are mostly useless people who do nothing but live off the labor of real working Americans.

These people are on Wall Street and K-Street and in Congress. They are CEO’s of Giant concerns and Union bosses and Chicago gangsters like those now in the White House. They are International Socialist bankers and all others who want to bring us down and make us feel guilty for being exceptional. They want us to abandon the unifying idea that we are blessed from our Creator with inalienable rights to Life Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. They want us to report to death panels of bureaucrats who will decide our happiness for us and arrest us for green violations. They will re-educate us and give us our ration after attaching a computer chip wrist band that we may be properly categorized into manageable groups that the bean counters will assist them in cooking up.

NUTS!

Which brings us to Voodoo the final component in this my most recent perspective on things.

Like the unifying Declaration of INDEPENDENCE, it is no accident that at the time it was put forth there was a unifying understanding that there was a single spirit, a single observer, the Creator who watched over men and their goings and comings and it was through His benificence that we men would not only declare INDEPENDENCE but give credit to that Single Spirit who also gave us our rights to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

This is not even debatable among the sane. The Truth is only challenged by perhaps the revisionist folly of Harvard Idiots and that admitted liar, may he rest in peace, Howard Zinn.

We are now however imitating Voodoo instead. Voodoo is a conglomeration of ancient pagan animist traditions. In Haiti it is mixed with a little Christianity just for fun. Evil spirits are given as much attention as good ones, and a good time is had by all. And their culture reflects this worshipping of lesser spirits.

Do they exist at all? Modern superior New York man scoffs at such mythological stupidity and condescends to visit what he sees secretly as the fools who dwell there for his vacation. Then in his intellectual generosity he tells himself that practioners of Voodoo are “valid” and just as good as those idiot Christians who are just as bad as Moslem terrorists, etc.etc.etc. “Comparative Religion and Multiculturalism, you know Scottsby, just like we learned at Yale … ha ha ha…”

Multiculturalism is not Pluralism which IS American. Multiculturalism degrades the single unifying spirit of America where our motto is E Pluribus Unum. It is anti-American on its face. Multiculturalism is being practiced by progressives on the micro-domestic scale by their dividing of Americans into small competing groups who stand at the government trough. It is forwarded by them on the grand scale by building globalism. The result is envy and the unravelling of the single Spirit of America, which is INDEPENDENCE.

We are experiencing cultural Voodoo. The progressive tyrants have taken the bean-counter’s statistics, mixed it with Harvard cooked relativism and multiculturalism in order to divide and rule and enslave free men and women. Envy is the greatest tool being used to grow government (the Great Parasite). Their duplicitous reasoning and the lies coming from their mouths about fairness cannot hide the effect of their treachery.

They are destroying our awareness of the Single Spirit that gave us freedom and all our bounty. They seek to replace it with many inferior and lesser and competing and many times evil spirits.

It is Voodoo, Period!

If you have never seen James Stewart, Jean Aurthur, Claude Rains, Edward Arnold, Harry Carey and Thomas Mitchel in this movie, do yourself a favor over the holidays and rent or better yet buy it. And if you have seen it watch it again. The dialogue between corrupt Washington insiders and political machine hacks and what they are trying to do in this movie is right off the pages of your Internet on a daily basis today.

A greenhorn is asked by a State’s senior Senator to fill in. He comes to Washington and is promptly made a fool of by the press very much like they did to Sarah Palin. Their jaded sophisticated banter includes telling Mr. Smith (James Stewart) to his face that the truth is irrelevant and that their job is to make things up as they wish. Sound familiar? But they are nothing but minor evil mongers compared to the giant political bosses who set out to destroy Smith when he inadvertently steps on their graft(y) toes.

They cannot corrupt him and buy him off since he doesn’t understand not doing what is right so they take their own corruption, cook a reverse story and charge Mr. Smith with a worse version of the crimes they are themselves committing. They attempt to destroy his reputation and remove him from the Senate . It reminds me of the swarm of foul operatives that took a vacation in Alaska last year.

When Smith is befriended by his somewhat cynical yet big-hearted secretary (Jean Arthur) he decides to fight, but James Taylor (played by Edward Arnold) the big machine political crook buys off all the Press and actually sends his operatives to beat up the boys club that has its own printing press. After seizing their papers that defend Smith he runs a group of the boys off the road. It reminds me of SEIU and Acorn.

Taylor can be seen giving instructions to the newspapers telling them to scare the public and that Mr. Smith’s filibuster is going to throw people out of work because the “Deficiency” bill packed with pork for him is being hung up. He commands them to scare the folks. It reminds me of that half-wit Grayson claiming the Republicans want people to die, or the complete disingenuousness of Obama claiming the country will go bankrupt if we don’t pass the health care bill: as if one, it isn’t bankrupt already, and two, the health care bill will do anything but make it much worse!

Then the bought and paid for Senator played by Claude Rains, who hired Smith in the first place and orchestrates the smear campaign against him, begins to slam his fist and tell other Senators that the Deficiency Bill needs to be passed “Now! Today!” Sound familiar?

This movie will move you unless you are a Liar and Thief (Democrat) a Cowardly Republican, a Wall Streeter from Goldman Sachs (everyone in the White House) or have a Harvard degree (Certificate of Idiocy).

There is a very dark cloud over Washington today. It is far worse than the movie I saw last night, though the methods and shenanigans are the same. Imperial Elites like Pelosi and Reid and Obama and all the gangsters from Chicago are trampling our constitution. They are practicing thievery and graft and perversion on an unprecedented scale. They do not care about the American People’s will at all anymore. The bill has to be passed NOW!

They don’t give a damn and they want us to pay for the murder of babies, the bail outs of banks and financial reprobates, the propping up of their giant corporate and union buddies and the takeover of private enterprise en masse. In short, they are FASCISTS! They are using Marxist pap to forward a modified form of International Socialism and we all know it, including those like Bill O’Reilly who would wet his pants before coming out and speaking the TRUTH!

Goldman Sacks is building themselves a new skyscraper with our money after they personally engineered our collapse, and then seized control of our government with their puppet Obama to profit off of the disaster. Nice!

Things could not get worse. But there is hope! It is not the hoax and change offered by that prancing egomaniacal unqualified Harvard bonehead that now wanders the White House looking in the mirror, the Fool for All Seasons with his sidekick, Jester Joe.

It is the Hope offered by the One who gave us our rights and whose birthday we celebrate this season. It is in Him that we will hope. For He is Always. We will not fear, for He even has a sense of humor. While the International Liars Club of Climate Change crooks jet around the world screaming that we are burning up and Jeffrey Immelt at GE needs Cap and Trade, and Al Goracle needs a bigger house for his Nobel Prize, the Living God blankets Washington DC with a great snowstorm to remind us that He runs the weather and that their deaf ears are plugged by their own choice to be godless.

We will celebrate Christmas while the screaming, lying thieves will do their worst. And come next year with our prayers and our unrelenting work we will take back what God Himself gave us, our freedom. We will tar and feather the bastards if we have to. Our call will be the same as it was in the beginning, “No Taxation without Representation!” For we are no longer represented in our government. And:

This government in Washington is no longer answerable to us and must be overthrown by force if necessary. For we declared at our founding that:

” We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

Nowhere in our Declaration of Independence or our Constitution did we give the government the right to add that in order to be free and un-incarcerated, a citizen must buy insurance, or pay for baby killings. By the Living God their usurpation of our freedom and charter will not stand without a fight!

In the end of Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, the crooked Senator has a change of heart and admits his villany. All turns out well in this ancient Hollywood story, the likes of which will most likely not come our way again. But we will enjoy Christ’s birthday knowing His Life, Death and Resurrection informed the minds of great men to claim our rights and freedom from His Father and Our Father.

Imperial tyrants who would destroy the greatest of man’s experiments in government must be and will be defeated next year. With His help and our prayers, and our diligence and resolve, and the threat of our being armed just for this purpose, He will crush their evil plans and restore our nation.

Mr Smith has left Washington. We must mobilize and send him back!

A Merry Christmas to All

No matter, my sister-in-law and co-incidentally Dino’s sister-in-law made marvelous pumpkin pies, and it wasn’t until this morning that I was reminded of the re-distribution of the big pie that is being attempted by Barry, Nancy, Harry and Joe the Clown … Back to reality.

But still, as I said, we have much for which to be thankful. And we should keep our eyes on another greater celebration that is just around the corner which is Advent.

Advent, for atheists, Muslims, college professors, and the boys in Barney Frank’s basement, is the celebration of the birth of Emmanuel (God-with-Us) Jesus Christ to whom we owe All Thanksgiving.

To set the record straight for anyone who has received a college degree in the last thirty years, and especially if you are a Certified Ignorant by virtue of having a degree from Harvard, I would like to explain what this means. If your degree is from the Ivy League you don’t see things coming very well. Just ask Bill O’Reilly. So if you know this already click on the Daily News link instead …

The great bounty enjoyed by the West, and all its advancements in science and technology are the direct result of the agreement of Western Societies to attempt and apply the meaning of the Life, Death, and Resurrection of the One seen at the Advent. After many poor attempts, the proper application of Christ’s Life came to inform the minds of our founders that “All Men are Created Equal” in the eyes of the Living God.

Western folks can take no real credit for the great bounty and wealth that we have amassed, since it was in spite of their race that they received such gifts. Simply put, St. Paul turned left when he headed north, or we would be making fold-up tables and investing in the decaying society of China.

The Great Hand of Providence is an Open Hand and it is there for all who will partake. The West did just this for two thousand years and now we are wondering if there isn’t a better hand someplace else. It is a very stupid gamble indeed. We would be better off making fold-up tables again and keeping our own hands busy while leaving the great work to the Open Hand.

We would then prepare for the weather instead of pretending we make it from CO2. We would realize that if there is any pollution that really affects the weather it is more likely a mental debris, a toxic form of brain food necessarily evacuated after being fed to us by our craven media.

Were we to return to honest living and we would not be so quick to embrace empty and evil cults of personality instead of keeping our weather-eyes on the good. We would remember that “something-for-nothing,” “bail-outs,” and “too-big-to-fail” are delusions designed for crooks, the wicked, and the spiritually blind. The honest man or woman is happy to live within the great and over-riding, material and immaterial Law of Equilibrium where All Things are paid for in reality.

We would remember that under this great Law no man is safe since all men cause things of unbalance sometimes without even knowing it. But we would therefore and most importantly be thankful for the Great Sacrifice that was made on this and all accounts only for a belief in exchange.

We would be happy that Advent is around the corner and that it is truly our portion of the Cosmic Pie. And since this, our government, is unlike any in the history of mankind and since it belongs to the people, we owe it to ourselves and to our posterity to take it back. We must prepare to wrest control of it from the Wicked BoyzAndGirlz now feasting, wasting and throwing pies that don’t belong to them.

It should not be so hard as we think. It should be as easy as apple pie to put our own homemade pies on top of our own homemade fold-up tables and enjoy the Feast of Advent …

Oh, yeah … and prepare to throw the wicked out.

Our Sweet Land of Liberty needs An Independent’s Day.

Have you ever been to a sporting event, or some other type of show or grand assembly, or maybe even watched such an event on TV where they played the national anthem? Did you stand up or cover your heart with your hand? Did you want to display such a reverence for your country but did not because you were in the company of others from you might suspect a mocking disapproval?

When you heard the anthem being sung did you feel your heart flutter a tiny bit like it wanted to fly out of your chest? Did you feel that spirit of love and gratitude dancing out a happy/sad tear from the corners of your eyes?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, there is good news. You count more now than ever before in the short history of man’s self-governance and liberty.

It is of you and for you and by you that our hope as free men and women reside. The Hand of Providence guides all things and yet we are left as individuals to work out our own salvation. It is why we must fight and never give up. For the record of our own lives is being written as we breathe.

The survival of the only place on earth where the charter states clearly that the government’s power is derived by the consent of those it would govern, is at stake. It is in the breasts of lovers of liberty that the spirit of true freedom that formed this nation resides. It may be kindling but dimly at the moment, but it is not yet out!

We need only to return to clarity quickly and we will reverse this great disaster that hangs over not only us but by default the entire earth.

We are culpable as a people. We abandoned our own charter and left good sense and prudence in our living behind. And in this moral and reasoning vacuum rushed the avarice and ambition of power hungry and entrenched eastern elitist villains to dictate our lifestyles to us. The antithesis of freedom and indeed even capitalism is BIG ANYTHING! We need to understand that men and women are not free if grand portions of their prerogative, or markets, or credit, or goods, or services are controlled by a few.

Washington/Wall Street Complex

We have supported the centralization of all these things since the Great Depression and we are even now allowing another massive shift of our health and wealth to be picked over by BIG VULTURES. Big Government and their brand new best friends on Wall Street are having sodomy parties with Big Corporations. Big Media is in the whorehouse with them drooling like ugly voyeurs. In all sectors of our economy Big Unions and Big Greens and Big Finance are advance-building the mechanisms to divide up the spoils from government run health care and global cap and trade schemes.

We have ignored the words: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

Had we not ignored them we would not have allowed the merchants of an increasingly centralized and degrading culture to take root. We would have boycotted all giant corporations that wagged their immoral mischief in our faces. We would have called to account our government which is now so corrupt that they boast of their evil and call it good, and then label those who disagree as hateful. Had we remembered the Creator from whom our true bounty and liberty derives we would have nurtured restraint and a reverence for things eternal. We would have stopped the teaching of evil to our young.

Regular folks are not trusted by the elitist sophisticates who present themselves as something the opposite of what they really are. Invariably the very same people who are seizing control of everything in the name of the good of the people, will tell you privately that the people are really stupid. I have heard them say it to me unashamedly. They have all the money. They are now starving the small businessman hoping to crush any part of the private sector that is not willing to be a Club Member of the Washington/Wall Street Complex. They are scrambling to make it permanent, while they blather about the “global economy.” This is Newspeak for “Independent Americans can shove it!”

We can stop them. They can lose this game.

Liberty still resides in the hearts and minds of most regular folks. We must turn them out. The Liars and Thieves (Democrats) must be turned out. The Cowards and Hypocrites (Republicans) must be turned out. Let the Parties fund their own filthy cronyist parties. Give not a single dime to them! Give money to individuals only, no matter their party.

Only those who respect us and promise restraint and limited government need apply. Only those who plan on legislating in a context of reality need step up. Only those who will deny and reverse this insane headlong dive into the financial abyss should we elect. This present financial mess is designed exclusively for the profit of international bankers. We must tell them, No More!

No man or woman who has ties to Wall Street, or the FED, or the IMF, or the CFR, or Big Unions, or Big Media, or Big Greens, or Big Corporations, or any other stifling Big Interest should be considered. It is our country. It belongs to regular folks not Big Anything.

The killer, BTW, used an FN 5.57, apparently fired about 100 rounds. Wallstreet Journal reported that he had cargo pockets full of mags–gotta be hard to get that much ammo in such an obscure caliber.  Evidently he did not use his revolver.

Since I don’t know when I’ll sleep (it’s 4 am now) I’ll write what
happened (the abbreviated version…..the long one is already part of the
investigation with more to come). I’ll not write about any part of the
investigation that I’ve learned about since (as a witness I know more than
I should since inevitably my JAG brothers and sisters are deeply involved in
the investigation). Don’t assume that most of the current media accounts
are very accurate. They’re not. They’ll improve with time. Only those of
us who were there really know what went down. But as they collate our
statements they’ll get it right.

I did my SRP last week (Soldier Readiness Processing) but you’re supposed
to come back a week later to have them look at the smallpox vaccination
site (it’s this big itchy growth on your shoulder). I am probably alive  because I pulled a ———- and entered the wrong building first (the main SRP building). The Medical SRP building is off to the side. Realizing my mistake I left the main building and walked down the sidewalk to the medical SRP building.
As I’m walking up to it the gunshots start. Slow and methodical. But continuous. Two ambulatory wounded came out. Then two soldiers dragging a third who was covered in blood. Hearing the shots but not seeing the shooter, along with a couple other soldiers I stood in the street and yelled at everyone who came running that it was clear but to “RUN!”. I kept motioning people fast. about 6-10 minutes later (the shooting continuous), two cops ran up. one male, one female. we pointed in the direction of the shots. they headed that way (the medical SRP building was about 50 meters away). then a lot more gunfire.

a couple minutes later a balding man in ACU’s came around the building carrying a pistol and holding it tactically. He started shooting at us and we all dived back to the cars behind us. I don’t think he hit the couple other guys who were there. I did see the bullet holes later in the cars. First I went behind a tire and then looked under the body of the car. I’ve been trained how to respond to gunfire…but with my own weapon. To have no weapon I don’t know how toexplain what that felt like. I hadn’t run away and stayed because I had thought about the consequences or anything like that. I wasn’t thinking anything through. Please understand, there was no intention. I was just staying there because I didn’t think about running. It never occurred to me that he might shoot me. Until he started shooting in my direction and I realized I was unarmed. Then the female cop comes around the corner. He shoots her. (according to the news accounts she got a round into him. I believe it, I just didn’t see it. he didn’t go down.) She goes down. He starts reloading. He’s fiddling with his mags. Weirdly he hasn’t dropped the one that was in his weapon. He’s holding the fresh one and the old one (you do that on the range when time is not of the essence but in combat you would just let the old mag go). I see the male cop around the left corner of the building. (I’m about 15-20 meters from the shooter.) I yell at the cop, “He’s reloading, he’s reloading. Shoot him! Shoot him!) You have to understand, everything was quiet at this point. The cop appears to hear me and comes around the corner and shoots the shooter. He goes down.

The cop kicks his weapon further away. I sprint up to the downed female cop. Another captain (I think he was with me behind the cars) comes up as well. She’s bleeding profusely out of her thigh. We take our belts off and tourniquet her just like we’ve been trained (I hope we did it right…we didn’t have any CLS (combat lifesaver) bags with their awesome tourniquets on us, so we worked with what we had). Meanwhile, in the most bizarre moment of the day, a photographer was standing over us taking pictures. I suppose I’ll be seeing those tomorrow. Then a soldier came up and identified himself as a medic. I then realized her weapon was lying there unsecured (and on “fire”). I stood over it and when I saw a cop yelled for him to come over and secure her weapon (I would have done so but I was worried someone would mistake me for a bad guy). I then went over to the shooter. He was unconscious. A Lt Colonel was there and had secured his primary weapon for the time being. He also had a revolver. I couldn’t believe he was one of ours. I didn’t want to believe it. Then I saw his name and rank and realized this wasn’t just some specialist with mental issues.

At this point there was a guy there from CID and I asked him if he knew he was the shooter and had him secured. He said he did. I then went over the slaughter house…the medical SRP building. No human should ever have to see what that looked like, and I won’t tell you. Just believe me. Please, there was nothing to be done there. Someone then said there was someone critically wounded around the corner. I ran around (while seeing this floor to ceiling window that someone had jumped through movie style) and saw a large African-American soldier lying on his back with two or three soldiers attending. I ran up and identified two entrance wounds on the right side of his stomach, one exit wound on the left side and one head wound. He was not bleeding externally from the stomach wounds (though almost certainly internally) but was bleeding from the head wound. A soldier was using a shirt to try and stop the head bleeding. He was conscious so I began talking to him to keep him so. He was 42, from North Carolina, he was named something Jr., his son was named something III and he had a daughter as well. His children lived with him. He was divorced. I told him the blubber on his stomach saved his life. He smiled. A young soldier in civvies showed up and identified himself as a combat medic. We debated whether to put him on the back of a pickup truck. A doctor (well, an audiologist) showed up and said you can’t move him, he has a head wound. We finally sat tight. I went back to the slaughterhouse. They weren’t letting anyone in there not even medics.

Finally, after about 45 minutes had elapsed some cops showed up in tactical vests. Someone said the TBI building was unsecured. They headed into there. All of a sudden a couple more shots were fired. People shouted there was a second shooter. A half hour later the SWAT showed up. There was no second shooter, that had been an impetuous cop apparently. But that confused things for a while. Meanwhile, I went back to the shooter. The female cop had been taken away,and a medic was pumping plasma into the shooter. I’m not proud of this but I went up to her and said “this is the shooter, is there anyone else who needs attention…do them first”. She indicated everyone else living was attended to. I still hadn’t seen any EMTs or ambulances. I had so much blood on me that people kept asking me if I was ok. But that was all other people’s blood. Eventually, (an hour and a half to two hours after the shootings) they started landing choppers. They took out the big African American guy and the shooter. I guess the ambulatory wounded were all at the SRP building. Everyone else in my area was dead.

I suppose the emergency responders were told there were multiple shooters. I heard that was the delay with the choppers (they were all civilian helicopters). They needed a secure LZ, but other than the initial cops who did everything right, I didnt’ see a lot of them for a while. I did see many a soldier rush out to help their fellows/sisters. There was one female soldier, I dont’ know her name or rank but I would recognize her anywhere who was everywhere helping people. A couple people, mainly civilians, were hysterical, but only a couple. One civilian freaked out when I tried to comfort her when she saw my uniform. I guess she had seen the shooter up close. A lot of soldiers were rushing out to help even when we thought there was another gunman out there. This Army is not broken no matter what the pundits say. Not the Army I saw.

and then they kept me for a long time to come. oh, and perhaps the most surreal thing, at 1500 (the end of the workday on Thursdays) when the bugle sounded we all came to attention and saluted the flag. in the middle of it all.
this is what I saw. it can’t have been real. but this is my small corner of what happened.

I will never forget hearing this statement spoken to me by Lt. Col. Jeff Cooper USMC, now deceased. He was my uncle, and I respected him for things beyond those for which he was famous. I admired this man most of all because he taught me clarity in reasoning. When he said this to me I did not fully comprehend it. There was a vagueness somehow in my understanding of its meaning. I wondered against what I knew of his sublimely concise mind if he had not meant something else, something more clear.

But this statement became more and more clear to me as time went on and as I tried to express my own thoughts clearly in writing. After the geopolitical events of this last year, any vagueness that the statement first evoked in me has faded. My understanding of it has reemerged with clarity. After Bush, TARP, Porkulus, GM, Obama’s Cap and Trade and Health Care, and the entire charade known as the Bailout Game, nothing is now clearer to me than this truth. When words lose their meaning people truly lose their freedom.

How is it that words lose their meaning? Words lose their meaning generally over long periods of time. Today, a semantic masquerade is being used as a propaganda mechanism by the Left. The common meaning of words is being destroyed by Progressive Academic Liars. Jed Gladstein has an article entitled The Point of the Dagger, at American Thinker, dealing with just this subject. It is a great read. He has highlighted many words that are slowly losing their meaning.

Take the word socialism, for instance. It has lost all meaning to some folks these days. The Oxford Dictionary on my computer has this entry:

a political and economic theory of social organization that advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.

When I was at a tea party town hall, a proponent of Obamacare was upset that people were calling Obama a socialist. The media fence-sitter, Bill O’Reilly would agree; O’Reilly is willing to point out all of Obama’s socialistic policies, yet he bristles when someone comes out and calls him one. Obama and the socialists now occupying the White House want to do things exactly the way Oxford defines socialism. When I pointed this out to the Obama supporter at the tea party, he claimed that police, fire, and other vital services were socialism. So I asked him if he were a socialist. He just got red in the face at my stupidity. The word socialism had lost its meaning for him.

The twisting of the common sense meanings of two words more than any others has been the engine driving the attack that threatens our freedoms. The two words are justice and equality. Throw in the word fairness alongside justice and equality and you have all the ingredients needed to justify the radical Progressive agenda. The Progressive Movement and their judicial allies have systematically substituted these three words for each other for over a century. And it is quite important to all Progressives that any clear differences in their use are glossed over, so that any clear thinking that might result from their common meaning will remain obscure.

In a general sense the word justice implies fairness. But today politicians attach an imperative of equality when using the word justice. They imply that there is no justice unless there is equality. This is not true. The goddess of justice is blindfolded to keep differences in status out of her judgment while she weighs the facts in a scale and executes with a sword. Equality is not a requirement of justice. And most of the time justice is simply the execution and application of the law with no respect to equality at all.

When the word justice is used by politicians it necessarily locates the word squarely within their purview of lawmaking. In the context of the law justice is truly much more specific in its meaning. If justice necessitates equality, then the law must demand equality. Always! Without our knowing it, a sleight of hand has been performed. It also takes on a noble mantle if they succeed in attaching equality to it as an imperative. This creates a pretense of moral superiority. The process is designed to pull the heartstrings of good Christians all across the land by using echoes from the Sermon on the Mount. It is the prime propaganda tool for socialism. A Christian feels trapped unless he embraces some form of social activism. Charity is diminished as inferior to compulsory government-funded entitlement.

Recently, Obama took to the pulpits to demand universal health care as a moral requisite by spouting about being your brother’s keeper and reciting other scriptures out of context. He even resorted to redefining government’s relationship to God as one of partners even in matters of life and death.

The word equality does not describe something inherently bad. It is just that there are a couple of versions of it. We live in a universe of contrarieties where all things have opposites. In physics there is an anti-particle for every particle. In the moral universe there are good and evil. Alexis de Tocqueville described two versions of equality in his tome, Democracy in America. Old Alexis pointed to first, an equality that looks upwards as a direction towards which there is the desire to head, and second, an equality that looks upwards with envy, wanting to bring it downwards.

If you regard someone as superior to yourself and determine to make yourself equal through your own honest effort you are exercising what de Tocqueville described as a manly passion for equality. It is healthy. It causes an upward movement of your own will. However, if you see someone as superior to yourself and believe that any superior person doesn’t really deserve his position because of privilege or race, and you must bring him down to your level, you are indulging a depraved taste for equality. Envy prefers equality in slavery to inequality with freedom. This is first and foremost a state of mind that fosters the intellectual bondage growing in prevalence in our society today.

If enough of us indulge in it we will wind up in a total nanny-state with universally inadequate and rationed health care, food, energy, employment, opportunities etc. We will all be brought down to a manageable level where there are no glaring inequities except of course those indulged in by the elite ruling class. By perverting the common meaning of the word justice to necessitate equality, the individual’s understanding and awareness of his Creator-given freedoms is weakened.

When words lose their meaning people lose their freedom.

Government-run health care is the latest attempt to establish tyranny from those who presume they are the definers of justice. So now we have “distributive justice” by Ezekiel Immanuel, “economic justice” by Rahm Immanuel, “energy justice” by Tim Geithner, and any other version of “justice” they conjure to justify the wealth-reduction of central planning. They reframe debate on any topic in terms of urgency and at the same time position themselves as defenders of the moral high ground. They use the language of justice, equality and fairness to mask ulterior motives — the seizing and redistribution of property, the consolidation of raw power, and the attendant destruction of individual liberty.

Progressives try to convince us that they have come to our rescue by using the word justice when they really mean the slavery of equality. They claim fairness demands it so that they might look better while they barter enough votes to grab power and secure their permanence. This is the antithesis of the intent of our founders who reasoned that all attempts by groups of elites of any stripe to control the governance of men denies the great mass of the population any hope of their own vision of happiness. The twentieth century is filled with so many abandoned examples of this that you would think they would have gotten the message by now. They have not.

In this country we have an abundance of second-rate tyrants in-waiting. And as of last year these anti-capitalist forces are united against the common man and his dreams. Now we have Wall Street, Big International Banking, Big Government Sponsored Corporations, Big Greens, Big Labor, Big Media, and Big Government itself all completely unified. The politics of division that our founders constructed for our protection is under siege. It started last year with half of the country’s sustenance being sucked out of regular folk’s pockets towards DC and Wall Street. The great centralization is under way.

It is important for us to be clear about what words mean, or our freedoms will be lost forever before we are even aware of it. We are even now, very close. If society passes laws that unequivocally demand equality, only in this context can someone honestly speak the word justice and mean equality. This however, is the essence, the pretense, the meaning, the lie, the redistributive evil, and the utter failure of Marxism. And this is why they bristle when they are labeled as socialists. Whether they admit it or not they are supporting a transitional social state between the overthrow of capitalism and the realization of communism. Today they are selling a hybrid of socialism, communism and fascism. No matter what they call themselves they are the enemies of free men and women. They are an elitist hodgepodge of oligarchs and plutocrats wearing a cheap suit woven out of phony social justice threads.

Justice is the reasonable and fair administration of the law or authority. Fairness is a requisite feature of all justice, equality of outcome is not. When a politician uses the term social justice today, he means a progressive version of equality, the depraved sort spoken of by De Tocqueville. The term is used for manipulation. It is a lie misusing words to hide a leftist collective agenda. Don’t be fooled. Don’t feel guilty.

Both equality and fairness are present in true justice, but only as elements whose proper place is in justice’s administration, where they support the quality of its deliverance not the deliverance of equality.

We must not let these words be muddled up so that we lose our understanding of their subtle differences. For this is the first step in destroying our individual liberty.

I dozed off for just a moment and remembered the Twilight Zone episode “A Stop at Willoughby”

An advertising executive named Gart Williams is pushed to the limit at work by a greedy fat boss who screams at him. And then he takes a train home to Connecticut to a shrew of a wife with an ambitious appetite for herself and her husband.

I saw the face of the boss yelling “Get with it Williams, its a Push, Push, Push world! C’mon boy, get with it, it’s Push, Push, Push, all the way!”

I was only out for a few moments but I had merged the purchase of my train ticket in my mind with the Twilight Zone episode. In my dream I was trying to buy a ticket. I was demanding from the agent a ticket to Willoughby. He called security and I woke up. I was at the Highland Park station.

I had purchased an all day ticket and I was early. I had some time, so I got off and went to look for something to drink. I found a convenience store down the block and bought a Gator Aid. I sat down on a bus bench and thought about Willoughby.

I thought about the idyllic and picturesque small town where the advertising executive first dreams of an escape and then travels to the town through his own death.

I will always remember what the conductor said to him about Willoughby. He said it was a place where a man could slow down to a walk and live his life full measure. Then Mr. Williams waked to reality and found himself with his disapproving greedy wife.

The Gator Aid cooled me down, and I began to relax as I headed back to the station. I have no wife. I’m not really under great pressure like Mr. Williams. Or am I? Have I ever felt that I was free to slow down to a walk and live my life to full measure? The answer is not really. And why is that?

In 1880 Willoughby, a fictional town in a Twilight Zone episode that is a train stop on the route to Connecticut from New York City, there is a town square with a bandstand. There are kids fishing and everyone says good morning cheerfully. Even if this reality never existed it should have. But any chance for it was destroyed by 1913 when the Federal Reserve Bank was instituted. That was the year by the way income tax was first levied. And banks have owned us ever since.

Let’s forget the conspiracies and simply face the facts.

You owe money while you are still in diapers, because private international bankers are charging the government interest on the money they exchange for Treasury Notes, money the Government should be printing itself at no interest.

The recent overthrow of the United States Constitution by Barak Obama and his Apollo Alliance of Big Labor, The Marxist Greens, and the Marxist Redistribution of Wealth Social Justice Cabal, coupled with Big Finance from Wall Street, now running the White House, and Big Corporations has made it almost complete. Throw in the disappearance of even a pretense of true journalism, and they will tell you there are two hundred protestors when there were actually ten thousand. They don’t care. They will do as they wish and then tell you did not see the things that you actually saw. They deny clear video evidence of Obama saying he is for a single payer system. Then they tell each other we don’t know what is good for us. The bankers know better.

You see they are only interested in you as a client and a financial slave from cradle to grave, a grave they will dig for you early, if possible. They own the minorities and the illegals, but they need health care to make it impossible for you to escape them and live as free men and women.

Go ahead, trade in your perfectly good paid-for car. Here is $4500, sign here and make the payments. Don’t think about slowing down to a walk and living your life simply in full measure. The Boys at the IMF, and the CFR, and the FED are counting on you. The Rockefellers, and the Kennedy’s and the Morgans, and the Rothschilds and Rahm Immanuel and his brother Dr. Death Ezekiel Immanuel and Timmy Geithner and the Bilderbergers all need you to “sacrifice for your country.” All Neo con Rockefeller Republicans and Democrats alike agree, you are too stupid to see reality.

The world needs one government run by those with Harvard degrees. It is only right. If you see something that looks fishy that doesn’t make sense, if you see the government telling you lies, you are mistaken. Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain, for he is the Obama, the Great and Powerful!

There never was a Willoughby or even a Mayberry. There was no Leave it to Beaver. There was no Father Knows Best. There was only evil capitalism run by white devil men who stole everything they got from the browns and the poor. We are now embarking on a new international journey. Get with it boy, it’s a push push push, world. No more divisiveness. The Corporations and Labor and Wall Street and the Media, and the Greens and the Marxists are all on board. You may have to give up your silly reliance on your guns and your Bibles, but in the end you will know we are right. You will understand true tolerance. We will save you from yourselves and save the planet all at the same time…

I used the restroom in a service station near the train station and washed my face. I remembered Mr. Williams looking in the mirror in his washroom being haunted by the images of his evil dominating control freak of a boss, and I thought of the WallCaponeStreet Gang now running our country.

I got back on the train headed to the hotel downtown. Mr. Williams died looking for Willoughby. If I could go there I would join him. I may anyway. I am finally ready to die for something. I am ready to die for the re-institution of the United States Constitution. I am ready to fight and sacrifice my life so that the only beacon of freedom left on planet earth does not perish.

I am headed to Willoughby. It is a place where the American Dream still resides.

It is a place free from the BIG of everything. It is a place free from the BIG: Filthy Corporate, Filthy Government, Filthy Labor, Filthy Financial, Filthy Media, Filthy Lying Greens and Academics and Filthy Lawyers whose Cronyist ways are restrained by a true separation of powers and limited government. It is a place where the average man is not despised and condescended to by wicked eastern elitists who know nothing of the Truth of America.

It is a place where Americans make things again, the only true source of wealth. It is a place where pencil pushing, fat, lazy, video-game, perverted, outsourcing internationalist, vain, foolish, celebrity, clown traitors and banking whores are not welcome.

It is a place where a man or a woman can live and think free and worship the Living God to whom we owe all our bounty and in Whose Name we now demand a restoration of our rights, our Constitution and our free way of life!

Free men may have to shed blood again! And if there is to be trouble, let it fall on my generation, half of whom are the reckless fools who have brought us to this. They are the liars who cloak themselves in outward niceties and compassion only to hide the envy and murder in their hearts. They are back stabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They are over throwers and thieves pretending to the poor and inventing new ways to hide the darkness of their souls.

The good news is that we may finally restore the clarity that made this nation the hope of the world. I will say what my friends are afraid to say. I have no more courage than they, just less to lose. For my God and my country I will speak up so that the next generation not yet born may live in liberty. I have only my life to lose. They have lives yet lived and the Living God to thank if liberty is restored.

So a ticket to Willoughby please, and hurry!

What's good for the Goose is good for the Gander

Whereas we the people of the United States of America are grown weary of a Congress that passes laws to spend taxpayer money in frivolous and perverted ways without even reading the bills that they make law,

Whereas we the people no longer have any true representation to protect and use wisely the hard earned monies now being seized or simply printed out of thin air by orders of the House of Representatives, the United States Senate, the Presidency, and the Treasury in what amounts to confiscation by inflation,

And whereas the monetary policies of the nation are being manipulated by the artificial expansion and contraction of credit causing bubbles and bursts of economic solvency and the profiteering of the international alien bankers, known as the Federal Reserve Bank, with the full knowledge and complicity of the Federal Government,

And whereas the entire Federal Government, the Executive and Legislative and Judicial branches are in collusion with Big Business Enterprises, Big Financial Concerns, and Big Labor Interests, and are practicing and pursuing progressive policies that are patently imprudent, fiscally irresponsible, and oppressive to the average American and destructive to the Small Businesses that make up the heart of our economic system; and showing a wanton disregard for the liberty that was and is the purpose and exceptional trademark of our founding as a nation,

We the People demand the instituting of a Law to be called the Goose and Gander Amendment. It states that:

Any attempt by the Federal Government to coerce any radical and progressive movement that nationalizes or exerts undue control over any major portion of the American Economy to be defined as any sector that comprises more than 0.5 % of the GDP, or to exercise any control beyond necessary oversight of any industry, it will be met with and tried by the Goose and Gander Test.

Since the government can no longer be trusted to represent prudently the best interests of the governed, should the Federal Government attempt to manipulate an industry for the supposed “People’s Welfare” it must first apply its proposed regulations on itself as a proof and a study of the efficacy of its purposes, so that all the People can see it work before it simply establishes itself as another undue Goliath of a burden on private Americans.

For instance, the current proposed Health Care Initiative must first be applied to all Federal Employees including the Congress and those working for the Judicial Branch and those working for the Executive, including the President and all staff members, and all Justices of the Supreme Court. If the Government sees the need for a larger sample in order to prove its case to the American People, by whom they are employed, it may then apply its experiment on Large Labor Unions, Large Corporations, Large Media Corporations and Wall Street Financial Concerns in that order before it has any prerogative on the interests of ordinary Americans employed by or pursuing Small Business. And it must take precautions to ensure that it cannot destroy those interests in the process.

What is good for the goose is good for the gander, Nancy, Harry, Barry, Rahm, Timmy, and Joe!

“… whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.”

At what point do we call it Treason?

At what point do we consider the illegal confiscation of over half the wealth of common Americans a form of treason. Was it not treasonous for the Secretary of the Treasury to meet secretly with the President and demand $800 billion dollars of taxpayer money to be given away to foreign bankers, and then refuse to provide a clear accounting of that money? I believe this to be patently unconstitutional.

Is it not a form of treason for the next President of the United States to give aid and comfort to the enemies of the American people by rewarding them with cabinet posts? Timothy Geithner is a tax-cheat and the a former head of the New York Federal Reserve Bank. He is one of the enemies of the American people. Or take Rahm Immanuel a former Goldman Sachs executive who was also responsible for the the most irresponsible acts perpetrated against the good and trusting American Taxpayer/Investor. He is now chief of Staff in the White House. These two men were integral players in the financial meltdown and subsequent thievery.

Is it not treasonous for this same reprobate, Immanuel, to condescendingly state that he would not let a good crisis go to waste? He is personally orchestrating the destruction of the private sector of the United States and has made it clear that he will see the end of capitalism. He is a traitor.

Is it not treason for the President of the United States to steal the equity owned by regular citizens in our largest auto manufacturer and give the shares to himself and the United Auto Workers. This is unconstitutional and the trampling of the rule of law no matter the refusal of the Supreme Court to do anything to stop it. It is a form of treason!

Is it not treason to declare war on independent thinking free men and women and their small business interests by saddling them with billions in taxes, with tax models cooked up by East Coast Plutocrats to line their pockets by implementing energy and health care schemes, schemes designed to do one thing efficiently: destroy the private sector and force Federal control of all prerogative? This is also unconstitutional. It is treason against the people by abrogating those guarantees of the Tenth Amendment.

Is it not treason for legislators to pass thousand page bills loaded with cronyist paybacks and pork, spending billions of our great grandchildren’s money forcing monetary slavery on children who are yet unborn? And these bills they refuse to read?

Are not our Representatives and Senators levying war against us? Are not Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid levying war on the American people?

The United States Code at 18 U.S.C. § 2381 states:

“… whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies…”

By stealing the peoples money illegally with no accountability have they not LEVIED WAR against us? By unreasonably seizing assets, and levying unconscionable and oppressive tax and spend schemes are they not destroying our way of life? By instituting conspiracies with large corporations such as GE to rake dollars from the public are they not levying war? I ask you to consider, have they not declared war on us?

What part of the thievery being perpetrated against the American People since September of 2008 is different, no, what part is in any way inferior to the Acts of King George that caused our Revolution and Founding?

Notwithstanding the recent pandering of our President to our declared enemies is there not just cause for the good American to consider any such actions as legitimate that might stop this illegal and ungodly course?

What pressure would stanch the profuse bleeding these traitors have caused our philosophy of living, our blessed and free way of life?

And even now the traitors, fearful of the wrongs they know they are committing, sleep so uneasy that they have alerted Law Enforcement to be on the lookout for any returning veterans that might disagree with them. At what point do we call it Treason?

The movement of progressives has been marching now for a century. The subtle advancements of their cause has for the most part been added to them unnoticed by the good, generous, and hard working free men and women. But when would-be tyrants from the ranks of the elite not only practice their normal strong-arm tactics by seizing power, control, and the very sustenance of the productive, but they then unashamedly declare that they will force monetary slavery on them, not three fold, not ten fold, yes not even one hundred fold, but a thousand fold or more, and then boast about it; is it not time for free men and women to resist and consider the absolution of our bonds with this illegitimate and treasonous government?

When the arrogance of a class of men has outreached their common sense and any prudence from which they conceive of their authority; when political, corporate, financial, and labor representatives forget from where we the common people derive our rights, it is our duty to remind them first and then remove them for the sake of our way of life, for the maintenance of our posterity and for the respect due to those who have shed their blood for our freedom.

The greatest experiment in human history that has liberated more folks that ever lived, now two hundred and some thirty odd years old, has decided to return to the rule of the Elites. Why?

I can see the sweat beads forming on Christopher Hitchen’s forehead. Can you hear the slow sizzle producing steam from the atheist’s ear? I say, so what!

You can believe in God and that He appointed all Harvard graduates as the natural taskmasters for the stupid, or you can believe that God allowed man to experiment with freedom for all, in His name, but you cannot believe in both at the same time and call yourself an American.
