Whose Stealing What?
I was walking down the street this morning on my way to get a burrito. I stopped by a fence where beyond a wall I could see the top of a church.
I reached down to my trouser pockets to check and see if my wallet was still there.
For some reason I had the feeling that I might have been ripped off. I wondered if my wallet had been extracted when I passed a couple of suspicious looking characters a block back. They were loitering against a fence and having a good time. I didn’t trust them when they smiled at me. One of them jumped out from the fence to the outside of the sidewalk so I had to walk between them. They were very friendly.
So I’m just wondering, while I’m at it, just what is being ripped off while we are not paying attention. What international intrigue, or loss of rights, or overturning of our constitution is secretly being executed while the Bankers and the IMF and the WHO and the White House are directing our focus on the Swine Flu?
And you think I’m paranoid? I wouldn’t travel to the East Coast if I were you, at least not without a mask . You might pick up a philosophical disease of some sort.
The only question is whether any snatch is being performed by the Cowards and Hypocrites (Republicans) or the Liars and Thieves (Democrats). At least my wallet is still here. Today anyway…
